Music Network/Line Music, in conjunction with MRL Records, has released "Live In The USA", Rick Moore's third European release. This live CD was recorded at Bourbon Street Boogie Bar (National Blues Club Of The Year in 2000) in Nashville, Tenn. May 12, 2001 during the celebration of "Mardi Gras in May".

This CD captures the excitement of Rick Moore and Mr. Lucky live on stage as they showcase the best of Rick's two previous recordings and the hot slide work of Mr. Lucky's own Sammy Stafford. Jerry (Snake) King, bass, Mike Caputy, drums and Tim Hinkley, piano, round out this impressive bunch of seasoned rockers.

Rick Moore is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from the cotton country of west Tennessee (just east of Memphis). He was exposed at an early age to all the music that was made from Memphis to Muscle Shoals.

A guitar player since he was a youngster in the sixties, Rick grew up playing in bands while working as a DJ in high school. B.B. King, Freddie King, Hank Williams, Fats Domino, Jimmy Reed and John Lee Hooker all were influences through WLAC in Nashville and local Memphis stations. Carl Perkins was a hometown favorite.

While living in Memphis in the seventies and eighties he worked with blues great Don McMinn (Memphis Blues Revue), song-writer Kieth Sykes, and traveled the length of Mississippi with the Coon Elder Band.

Rick also worked with groups ranging from The Amazing Rhythm Aces to Mink (Willie) DeVille with whom he toured Europe in 1983. He spent time in New York, Boulder, CO, and Key West before arriving in Nashville IN 1987, joining the thriving R&B, blues, and Rock & Roll scene.

"Live In The USA" (2002) follows the success of Rick Moore's first two releases, "Slow Burnin Fire" (1997) and "Satisfied" (1999). Both critically acclaimed, they were released in Europe on Music Network and in the USA on MRL Records. With this new release of Memphis blues and swampy rockers Rick Moore looks forward to rockin' into the 21st century.
